Smart Ecology can provide a detailed Ecological Impact Assessment.
An Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) is a detailed evaluation of the potential impacts of a development upon protected sites, habitats and species. An EcIA can be produced as a stand-alone report or as a chapter within a multi-disciplinary Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
Whether an EIA is required for a development depends on criteria such as the type of development, size and environmental sensitivity.
Smart Ecology can provide advice and undertake the necessary survey work to inform an EcIA. All our EcIA reports are produced with reference to the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM’s) Guidelines for Ecological Impact Assessment.
Not sure exactly what you require? Our experienced ecologists will provide free, no obligation advice, just ask.
